  一、教材依据

《Unit7You are supposed to shake hands》教案

  山东省教育出版社《义务教育课程标准实验教科书﹒英语》(九年级)为依据,设计的内容是九年级英语课本第七章第一节课You are supposed to shake hands。

  二、设计思想

  根据《英语课程标准》及《英语教学大纲》的要求,在本节课的教学过程中,采用“任务型”的教学途径,借且助多媒体,增强趣味性和直观性,增大课堂容量,提高课堂效率,面向全体同学,让每一个学生都能参与到活动中来,同时,在听说读写协调运用和过程中让学生学会掌握知识、发展能力、陶冶情感、态度、形成正确的价值观。让学生学会:

  ①、能够描述自己或他人在不同场合应该做什么

  ②、能同他人讨论不同国家的风俗习惯,如初次见面的礼仪、餐桌礼仪等。

  ③、让学生了解中外文化,避免发生因文化冲突造成的尴尬,同时,弘扬我国优秀的传统文化,提高学生的听、说、读、写的全面能力。

  三、教学目标

  1)Knowledge aims :

  1.Students can grasp the target language and vocabularies.

  What are you supposed to do when you meet someone?

  ——You are not supposed to shake hands.

  ——You should have asked what you were supposed to wear?

  2)Ability aim:

  (1) Train students’ listening ability.

  (2) Train students’ integrating skills.

  (3)Train students’ communicative competence.

  (4)Improve the four skills of learning English .

  3)情感目标:

  培养学生的爱国主义情操,学会比较不同的国家的文化差异。

  四、难点:Vacabularies grammar focus and different customs.

  五、重点:Can use “be supposed to” correctly.

  六、教学准备:

  投影仪、地图、单词卡、录音机 图片

  七、教学过程:

  Step 1:Warming up :oral English.

  Step 2: Presentation by play a game.

  1. Students have learned the new words in the first part. So it is a good way for teachers to describe the words and students guess what they are . for example ,this word is noun. It is a kind of paper or handkerchief that you use to wipe your mouth or hands while having dinner (napkin). In this way ,students can remember the words easily.

  设计意图:让学生复习巩固所学的'单词,通过单词卡,增强学生的信心,拉近了师生之间的距离,有利于活动的开展,通过对旧知识的复习有利于新课的句型教学。

  Step 3 : Listening practice .

  1) .Ask students to think : what are they supposed to do when they meet someone for the first time ? ( in China)

  S: Answer the question.( one or two students)

  2). show the map .ask the students to guess what each of the countries is. For  example : Brazil Japan Korea the United States and so on .

  let students know about the countries so that students understand that different countries have different culture.

  3) Let students practice.

  What do people do when they meet the first time ?

  let them practice the important sentences again and again according to the picture.

  4). Pairwork:

  Talk about what people in different countries do when they meet for the first time.

  What are people in Korea supposed to do when they meet for the first time?

  They’re supposed to bow.

  5) .Read the instructions again and ask students to match the customs lettered. a , b ,and c .with the countries. Point out the sample answer 。

  ①students try to get the general idea .

  ②play the recording a second time . Say , now listen to the recording and check your answers to activity 1a.

  设计意图:英语新课标准要求运用“任务型”教学方法,因此在听问题之前,先呈现要回答的问题,让学生带着问题去听录音,这样学生就会有意识地抓住要听的内容,提高学生听的效果。

  Step 4: p2 2a&2b

  Teacher asks students: what are you supposed to do if you are invited to a friend’s house?

  Students answers.

  Step 5:

  Listen to 2a ,pay attention to the pronunciation and get the general idea.

  ①Point to the picture and ask students to tell what is happening. Help students understand that people are at a picnic .

  ②Point to Maria and ask .what’s Maria wearing. Ask if she looks comfortable or

  comfortable.

  ③Read the instructions and point to the four mistakes on the list .read the mistakes to the class or ask different students to do it .then ask different students to explain the meaning of each line in their own words. Say .listen to Maria talking to a boy about what happened at the picnic .she made several mistakes .listen to the recording and check the mistakes she made.

  ④Listen for the third time and fill in the blanks in 2b .

  ⑤Explain difficult points.

  e. g 1) be supposed to do means should do

  You are supposed to clean the classroom every day .

  It is supposed to be very hot here.

  设计意图:英语课堂教学要求全面提高学生的听、说、读、写的能力,本节课中有一些重点的语法点常出现在练习中,而且学生往往不易记住,因此教师有必要讲解其中的难点,并且通过举例进一步达到知识的运用。

  d. Call first ,and knock at the door

  e. Disscuss the plan , call to make changes.

  f. Always on time or little early .

  g. Festival gifts being necessary . Step 7. Summary : In this class, we have done some listening, reading and speaking practice. We have practiced the target languages. We also did a discussion to show the standards about a good behaved student. I hope we can all become good behaved students and it is helpful to our studies.

  Step 8 . Homework.

  八.教学反思

  成功之处:在本节课的教学过程中,我采用了“任务型”的教学途径,借助多媒体,增加趣味性和直观性,增大课堂容量,提高课堂效率,在每一个环节中,由易到难,循序渐进的原则开展活动,面向全体学生,让每一个学生都能参与到英语教学活动中来,让学生体验到了成功的感受。

  不足之处:根据授课效果来看,很不理想。这个班级是我本学期刚接手任教的,根据以往的经验,我单方面认为学生己掌握了基本的听说能力,没有从学生的实际出发,而这堂课我差不多全用了英语,导致学生无法准确地接收我发出的信息,也就无法正确地用英语表达,很多地方出现了冷场。课堂气氛很不活跃,在几个地方的问答操练的时候,学生的反应没有我设想的那么好,为了及时进行补救,在原计划的基础上增加了操练的次数和人数,导致最后辅导练习没有来得及完成。经过反思,还是觉得自己没有站在学生的角度出发,对学生了解的还不够,只是一厢情愿的进行自己的教学,今后一定要从学生的实际出发,充分了解学情,达到最佳的教学效果。
