Nowadays , a majority of the aged in china have the Empty-nest syndrome which means that the aged have no family members to accompany with so that they feel lonely and helpless, as which reflects in the picture. The widely existence of the Empty-nest syndrome mainly owing to many people’s occupation of personal affairs,especially in work and children’s education,which leads to their having no time caring their old parents and even neglecting them.
This phenomenon reflected in the picture is immoral and distressed. It is well-known that caring the aged and not making them feel lonely and hopeless is not only the traditional virtue cherished by Chinese but also a duty laid down in the constitution. In order to prevent such phenomenon typified in the picture ,we should make efforts to promote moral education ,and ,at the time ,strengthen the regulations and laws . Only in these ways can we ensure a better life for the aged.
