　　One day, when I went home after school, I found there was no one at home, so I felt bored. I suddenly thought about the toy I wanted to buy last time, but my mother stopped me, she said I had bought so many toys, I still wanted to buy. I saw my mother put her money in the desk, as I wanted the toy so much, so I took the money and then went to the shop. When my mother came home, she did not realize, but I felt so guilty, I decided to tell her the truth. I finally told my mother, she smiled and told me she waited for me to confess, if I miss the right time to confess, she would be angry, because it would improve me to be a bad child. I was so happy that I confess my mistake at the right time and correct it.

Punctuality is an important constituent of good character.A person who is always on time for his appointments shows real consideration for others. A person who is always late shows selfishness and thoughtlessness, and he is not a person that most people want for a friend. A few minutes' delay may not be a serious matter, but it may have bad results. Getting up ten minutes later than usual may upset the plan of the day.Calling on a friend five minutes later than the appointed time may cause him some unexpected trouble. One delay after another makes a man unable to exert himself. It also proves himto be untrustworthy.

　　Since punctuality is a good habit and a nice virtue, we should pay much attention to it and make much effort to cultivate this good habit so that we may have a strong sense of punctuality and do whatever we are supposed to do on time.

　　When the salesgirl had finally written out the bill and was about to turn to the next customer with a tired voice. “Thank you very much， madam，“ the old lady suddenly cried out， “Oh， I almost forgot...“――“Anything else， madam？“ said the girl， “Yes，“ began the old lady， “I‘d like to buy another pair， but I‘ m not quite sure about what exactly I should cloose. 　　then went on to explain that what she was looking for was a pair of gloves for a girl of her age. She was not at ail sure what color to choose， and the design was a problem too.

　　At last the chosen pair of gloves were wrapped up and paid for as well， and as the girl was about to turn to the next customer， the old lady handed her a little parcel and said， “These now， dear， these are for you and thank you for being so patient. I do hope you have a merry Christmas !“

Through them, we can keep up with what people are thinking all over the world. But that can also be a problem. Some of the courses may not be very suitable for Chinese students because of cultural differences and may cause chaos on Chinese campus.
