of的'惯用法
Off of
这边的of显得有些多于，儘管有些人认为有些人认为Off of是一种惯用语法，无伤大雅，但把of去掉，可以显得更简洁一点。例如：Keep off of the grass或者You ought to come off of your high horse.
Outside of
例如：We stood outside “of” the building.既然都已经是在建筑物外面了，再加个of就显得多馀。又例如Outside of you,I have no one，这句话就有更好的替代方法，就像 except for,other than,besides,apart from,aside from等。
All of
当有代名词介入时，of就必须存在，例如：all of it和all of us。此外，当所有格名词前面有冠词a或an，of也是必须存在的，例如：all of a book’s wisdom,all of history’s lessons。但是当名词前面有形容词或the时，一般而言，则会倾向于将all of的of去掉，例如：all my books、all the lessons of history。
Out of
这边的of是必要的，除了两个例外door和window，例如：We hurried out the door、I stared out the window.
