　　I haven’t write diaries for a period of time. I am now writing this just want to remember one thing. My study has fallen behind a lot this term. I can keep my score in the top ten in the whole school ranking before. But this term I fall behind. I nearly draw back to fifty. I know the reason is because I am too arrogant. I think I can be the best without studying hard. So I usually not pay too much attention on my study. When I find myself lag behind, I comfort myself it is accident. I have learnt a serious lesson this time. So, I want to write it down to warn myself.

　　我已经有一段时间没有写日记了。我现在写这篇日记只是想要记住一件事。这个学期我的'学业落后了很多。我成绩之前可以保持在全校前十名。但这个学期我后退了。我差点就退到了五十名了。我知道原因是我太自大了。我觉得我不努力学习也可以保持最好。所以我一般都不怎么在意我的学习。当我发现自己落后时，我安慰自己只是意外。这一次我吸取了深刻的教训。所以，我想把它写下来以此警示着我。

　　There are many kinds of interesting sports, such as basketball, football, swimming and running, but the most I like is swimming. It's the most exciting thing to do when summer comes. I like swimming. It's so wonderful.

　　I’m neither interested in sports nor good at it. But except swimming. I can swim since I was a baby. My mother tells me that she let me swim in the water with a life-buoy when I was 20 days old. And then I can swim gradually. When I grow up, I like swimming very much. I swim all the year round. Swimming in summer makes me feel comfortable to lower my temperature. While winter swimming makes me feel excited and achievability. In general, swimming keeps me fit in both physical and mental. Whenever I feel upset, I would go swimming and then I would be full of energy and feel relax. Besides I believe it is due to swimming that I’m so thin. Who wants to lose weight, join me. 　　My hobby is playing basketball. I started to play basketball when I was 12 years old. After school, I would stay on the playground and play basketball with some friends of mine until it was dark. Since then I have taken it as my hobby because it is good to my health and I enjoy it very much. Now I work in a big foreign company. I am busy at work during the week so I don’t often play it, when there are some holidays for me to have a rest.
