　　记得有一次，我乘公共汽车的时候，无意中看到一间小工厂源源不断地向附近的小河排出一些红色的污水，顿时间，河水被染成红色。我心想：这样的环境，河里的小鱼、小虾等动物还能生存吗?这样的水质，如果我们喝了也会生病，甚至会死亡。像这样的因工业生产所导致的环境污染并非少见，应引起有关部门的重视。

　　但也许有人说：“我没有排出污水废气，我居住的地方也很好，保护环境根本与我无关。”其实我们在生活中，就常有破坏环境，我们每天都用大量的塑料袋，纸巾、电池等的物品，浪费大量的水电资源，这无形中都在破坏环境。我们的这些恶习致使臭氧层不断地受破坏，全世界的气温不断升高，假如有一天，两极冰川融化，全世界的海面将会升高，有一部分的沿海城市可能会被淹没。广东省也是沿海地方自然也有被淹没的可能。每年的水旱灾旱，土地沙漠化，山泥倾泻等与我们没有好好保护环境都有关，因此我们应该树立起一种保护环境的意识。

　　那么我们应该怎样保护环境呢?我有以下几点小建议：第一点要爱惜能源，不浪费水电资源;第二点要爱护绿化，不乱摘花草，不践踏草地，不乱砍树木;第三点不要制造太多废物，像塑料袋等应尽可能少用;第四点要懂得废物利用，没用的报纸、杂志、瓶子等应送到收购站进行废物回收;第五点要注意环境卫生，不可以随地吐痰，不能随地扔垃圾，果皮杂物应放进垃圾箱。以上的这些都是我们能够做到，并且应该做到的方法。
