这个暑假我跟着爸爸去了不少地方，让我感受最深的不是美景，而是不会说英语的遗憾。
七月份的时候，我跟着爸爸去了北京玩，我们一起看了故宫，还有天安门，非常开心，这时我看见一个外国友人走到我们面前，说了好几句英语，我一脸迷惑的看着他，不知道他要表达什么，他看我听不懂，又转身找了一个，原来他是要找人帮忙照相啊。
虽然这只是一个小小的`插曲，但是我却在随后的日子里碰到了好几个外国友人，可怜我不会英语，那时我就下定决心，好好学英语。
回到家后，我买了一本简单的问候语，还有日常用语，开始学了起来，虽然过程是麻烦的，但是我还是坚持了下来，我又买了一本单词本，每天都背上几个，慢慢的我感觉自己的英语水平提高了。
八月份的时候，我跟着爸爸去了天津，当然我还是碰到了几个外国友人，这次我主动打了招呼，聊的很开心，外国友人直对我竖大拇指，我开心极了。

我在吉的堡学英语时的英文名字叫：“Eric。”我喜欢这儿，因为这里有很多有趣的游戏、有趣的老外老师等。
今天是我在吉的堡第一次听课，伴着九位小朋友欢乐的笑声，我们来到了坐满家长的教室。
给我们上课的是一位年轻力壮的'外国男老师和一位年轻美丽的中国女老师。一开始，我们就唱起了英语歌，在欢乐而轻松的氛围中外国老师拿出了画有书包等图片的卡片，我们开始大声的跟老师朗读。接着开始玩游戏，老师念一个单词，小朋友就用球击打贴在黑板上对应的图片，每次游戏结束，教室里都会响起一阵阵掌声。当游戏进行到第二关的时候，我被外国老师选中，与另一位小朋友进行对话训练，我感到紧张又荣幸，心怦怦地跳个不停，我们首先用“石头、剪子、布”的方式决定谁先问问题，虽然我表现不是很好，但老师还是用微笑鼓励我，并给我贴上了“奖点”。后来我一切放松了，在接着的游戏中我开始大胆举手，积极参与各种游戏，我感到心花怒放。
