One day, my parents bought me a computer.I had been longing for a computer for such a long time.I used to go to net bar to use computer.
Now I have my own computer.So I was very excited.
Along with the computer, they bought some software to help me with my studies.My father said that the computer would be my tutor from now on.
However, he told me not to play computer game or chat on internet for a long time.He thought it was a waste of time.And I think so too.
Then I used it to send E-mails to my friends to tell them that I have a computer on my own home too.

the summer vacation had e round again。 i was happy that i could forget about school at least for a while。 lest i fool around all through this summer vacation， i made a plan as to how to spend it。 first， i thought i should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that i could have a better understanding of them。 then i thought i should take up some forms of exercise， such as walking， running and rowing， to keep me physically strong。 it stood to reason that with such a good plan i should make the best of my vacation time。 i did， because i lived up to what i had planned。

Recently, three owls appeared suddenly on our campus. They made me think of my pet from childhood. When I was little, we had an owl at home. It was small, gray, and had two big eyes. We liked it very much. Every time I went home, it greeted me by making “goo-goo” sounds. We always played with it and talked to it. It would blink its eyes just like it understood what we were saying. It was like my best friend. But when the weather became colder, we forgot to keep it warm , and it died. As the world is getting more densely populated, pollution presents a severe problem. More people make more waste. All this waste is polluting our surroundings.
Pollution has a bad influence on our life. The air is pollnted by the smoke and fog coming out of the factory chimneys. Plants die for want of fresh air. The river is polluted and the fish are unfit to live. There is noise pollution made by cars and factories, etc, which hurts the ear.
It is high time we did something about pollution. I suggest more trees be planted to keep the air fresh. We should purify the water and make use of the wastes and turn harm into good.
