　　Should students make friends on line? Some people say yes. The Internet helps make many friends. Chatting on line, students can express their feelings and opinions more freely, and even get help with their foreign language studies.

　　Others, however, think students should not. They say making friends on line is a waste of time, which should be spent more meaningfully on study. Besides, some students, get cheated on line.

　　It is my opinion that students should place their study, health and safety before other, things. As for friendship, we can readily find it in our classmates and other people around us.

　　Since I go to school, it is important to take the high score, because not only my parents feel very happy, but also my teacher will give me special attention. It seems that high score is the main goal for every students. It has been long recognized that foreign students are good at practising while our students are good at getting the high mark. 　　When people start to set the goal, they will think about the result immediately, of course they want to get the best result. 　　When we fight for our goal, we will do our best and try to improve ourselves, even we fail in the end, but when we look back at the beginning, we can find that we are no longer the childish ones, we have grown up and become mature. 　　这次去欧洲旅游，我收获很多，其中有一点就是让我对学习英语的体会又深了一层。

　　去欧洲之前，我学英语时基本都是哑巴英语，从来不去大声读，发音总是不标准，而且学习过程中没有兴趣，所以虽然反复学但是效果不好，学习效率很低，浪费了很多时间。

　　在欧洲，我发现熟练掌握英语非常重要，无论是在旅游景点还是购物商场，英语总是通用的语音，在很多情况下，由于英语不好，不能准确地表达出自己的想法，而产生很多遗憾。在卢浮宫参观时，虽然有英文的讲解器，但因为听不懂，就不能更好的欣赏这个艺术宝库。在意大利，就连最简单的买冰激凌，由于不会用英语说“香草”这个词，也无法品尝更多地口味。这样的事情，几乎每天都会发生。所以在国外时，我就暗暗下了决心，今后一定要认真学习外语，熟练掌握好外语。还有一点，我看到外国人说英语时口型都是非常夸张的，有时嘴巴张得很大，有时嘴巴撅得很厉害。我回想了一下自己的发音，说英语时口型和汉语发音差不多，口型不到位，发音自然也不会标准了。

　　有了这两点体会，我对英语的`学习有了更多的动力和认识。回国后在假期里学习音标时，我开始大声地练习，丢掉了以前的不好意思，尽量的把口型做到位，发音慢慢地纠正过来。当然，今后我还要继续持久的练习，期待下次出国游时，我可以说的更多，听得更多！

　　这是一个忙碌的暑假，说是专门用来为了学习英语而学习英语的时间实在算不上多。只是练习了三四篇雅思写作task1和两篇task2，剑九的听力基本上听过了一遍、阅读只做了一两篇。

　　但是由于这个暑假大多数时间都是在加拿大度过的，一共呆了40天。在这期间基本上处在全英文的环境里：上课用的是英文，做笔记写的`是英文，和朋友谈话也是用英文，订票、点餐、问路基本上都是用英语完成的。不敢说我的口语进步了很多，但是日常对话反应之类的都还过得去。在home stay里学了些新的俚语，女主人很热心也鼓励我把不会的单词记下来。当遇到不认识的单词的时候她会很耐心地解释给我听然后拼出来。最重要的经验就是有不懂的地方就要厚着脸皮问到懂为止这，如此一来日常会话应该都没有问题了。

　　从加拿大回来就只剩下三个星期了，所以完成了英语作业之后就做了上面提到的一些练习。所以说这个暑假的应试的英语学习并不多，但是学习英语的时间应该是足够了。

　　虽然说雅思已经达到了7分，应该可以用来申请我想要的大学了，但是我还是想再考一次看看能不能达到更高的分数来申请。因为之前准备的时候都是针对题型来做练习的，所以这一次我想试试能不能通过提高日常英语来提高雅思分数。当然在考之前还是需要做回一些练习熟悉题目。

　　在去年的暑假期间，妈妈为了提高我的英语读写水平给我报了一个英语兴趣班，能学会另外一门语言，我的心中别提多高兴了。

　　到了该上英语课的时间了，我高高兴兴的去往兴趣班的四教室里，刚走到教室门口，我听到四教室内传了嗡嗡的喊叫声，我透过教室的'门向教室望去，正有可多不熟悉的小朋友七嘴八舌、交头接耳议论着假期中的奇闻异事，教室内就像开了锅似的。

　　到了上课的时间了，这时走来了一位漂亮的老师，她给我们自我介绍说她叫楚老师，是我们的英语老师，今后一段时间就和我们大家做朋友了，随后她用英语给我们介绍了其它东西，虽然我一句也听不懂，但我被楚老师那精彩的英语介绍所吸引，我决心要学好英语，用英语和别人交流多牛呀！

　　课堂上，老师给我们讲了最基础的英语字母读写、发音，我被老师标准的发音、漂亮的英语书写所吸引，每一堂课我都认真的跟随老师的讲解认真的学习，一遍遍的练习发音。书写，我的发音读写快赶上老师的要求了。

　　经过暑假老师的无私耐心的教育，我有好多次英语测试考了100分，妈妈和老师一直夸我是一个英语小行家了，现在我也能用英语和老师进行简短的对话了，有时我和妈妈讲的口语她也不知道什么意思，你们说我的进步大吗？

　　今天，我去张贡阿姨家学英语。阿姨给我和封悦还有她的表妹上了暑假里的第一节英语课。

　　开始上课了，老师先写了几个国际音标在黑板上，分别是：／i：／、／i／、／a：／、／＾／、／p／、／b／、／d／、／t／。老师先认真的教我们读，老师读一个，我们就跟着读一个。我们掌握了之后，老师就指一个，我们大家就读一个。到了最后，老师要一个个同学检查，我有一些紧张，因为我还不太熟悉这些音标。没想到老师第一个就点了我的名，我只好怏怏地站了起来。老师点哪个我就读哪个，还是勉强过得去。轮到封悦了，只见她流利地读了出来，脸上没有一丝紧张的神情。哎！为什么我不能像封悦一样倒背如流呢？后来，自由读的'时候，我很用心读，每个音标都比她们多读几次。我学得很快，三下五除二就分得明明白白，读得清清楚楚的。

　　接下来，我们玩了音标游戏。就是老师把卡片发给我们，然后老师读一个音标，有那张音标卡片的同学就把卡片举起来。游戏开始了，老师先读了／a：／，我一下子就发现卡片在我手里，我马上把它高高地举了起来。游戏到了一半，老师读了一个音标：／p／，可是过了一会儿也没人把卡片举起来。大家你看看我，我看看你，都糊涂了。最后我发现音标卡片在封悦手里，我提醒她，她一直说：“不在我这，不关我的事。”她看到都没人举卡片之后，她才往自己的手里瞄，呀！原来在自己手里，然后马上把卡片举起来。结果弄得大家都哈哈大笑。不但让老师呆了很久，又浪费了我们宝贵的时间。

　　今天，我上了暑假里的第一节有趣的英语课，我不但学到了知识，还知道了做任何事情都要细心、要虚心。

The story tells about a retired man finds his own place again by being an intern in garment company. The old man helps his boss who is acted by Anny come back her family life again.

　　Though the man is aged, his is really young in mind. He keeps studying the constant news and learn the newest technology. Unlike the people who are in the same age and have no idea about the Internet, this old man is full of passion and he lives the wonderful life. So age is not the excuse to stop moving on, it is never too old to learn. Everyone can choose the life they live, no matter how old they are.
