My name is Zhao Han. I am a girl of twelve. My parents are both doctors. They like travelling, and so do I. I have a two-month holiday every summer. My parents often take me to visit many places of interest, such as the West Lake, the Great Wall, and the Palace Museum. We have a good time in a train, a ship or a plane. I have seen so many big rivers, famous mountains and cities with a long history. We have taken many beautiful photos. I have learned a lot by travelling. And I am becoming interested in history, literature and art.

过了一会而，老师准备讲课了，因为这是第一次上英语班，有点不熟悉这里的环境，就有一点害羞。……然后，老师高声地说：”你们有谁没学过英语的，举一下手吧！“我听到就高高地举起手，老师看过了看过去，然后就让我们放下了。老师说：”好的，那我请一位同学来告诉我苹果怎么拼，并把它给读出来。“老师望了望我，就叫了我的名字：”陈新远，你来回答吧！“我慢吞吞地站了起来，低头看见所有同学都在看着我，为了面子，只好说啦：”嗯内个 a-p-p-l-e，apple。“看着同学们的表情，我就知道我读错了，后来，老师表扬我说：“good！sit down！“（呼）我松了一口气，才知道我读对了。”你第一次学，就回了，真棒哦！“老师表扬我说。我开心地笑了笑，然后坐下来继续听课。

我今年八岁了，是黑芝麻胡同小学一名一年级的小学生，过了暑假就要升入二年级了。刚入学的`时候，妈妈就给我报了英语课程班，开始我不太喜欢学英语，课前不预习，也不按老师要求点读，根本达不到老师的要求，学不好英语，我自己也很着急。
有一天放学回家，妈妈催我赶快点读当天的课程，我没有照做。于是，爸爸让我翻开课本读一读，我根本读不出来，大部分单词都不会，爸爸也着急了。正好要放寒假了，我决心把英语赶上去。每天，我早晨起来后就一遍一遍地点读课文，然后背单词，最后达到熟读课文的水平。经过几天的努力，终于把一个单元的内容学会了，有时候累得真想哭呀！就这样，我坚持每一个上午的英语学习，不到一个月，就把一个学期的内容都学会了。
第二学期开始了，我明显能够跟上老师的进度了，每天坚持点读、背诵课文。一共进行了三次考试，我从第十一名逐渐提升到了第三名，老师还专门让我向全班同学介绍学习经验。
一年级结束后，我被分到了精品班，现在我每次课堂听写、读书、背诵都很熟练，我也真正地喜欢上了英语。俗话说：“世上无难事，只怕有心人”。只要能够坚持，就一定能学好英语。
