　　婚姻，是人生中最漫长的一段旅途，美满婚姻的基础是爱情。托尔斯泰说过：“只有爱情才能使婚姻变得圣洁。”跨国婚姻产生的一个最重要原因是双方彼此相爱。相爱，所以结婚。爱情可以跨越一切困难。在爱情基础之上的跨国婚姻与其他形式的婚姻在本质上没有任何区别，就谈不上利弊的存在。而从另一方面来说，跨国婚姻更能让双方了解彼此的国家，了解彼此的文化，促进更多国家的交流。

　　同时，跨国婚姻，双方容易因为国籍、习惯、观念、风俗、语言的差异导致没有认同感和归宿感。事实上，跨国婚姻与国内婚姻相比是有较高风险的，它的不确定性因素更高。从传统上讲，中国人更讲究门当户对，而对跨国婚姻来说，缺乏共同的文化圈，双方在语言、风俗、宗教信仰等方面都存在巨大的差异，而这些都是双方必须要跨越的障碍，但是要跨越这些障碍，是非常困难的一件事，因此跨国婚姻非常容易导致离婚，这不但给双方带来伤害，而且也会给身边的人带来不好的影响。
