  灰姑娘观后感英文 1

After I read these two different versions of Cinderella, I found there are many similarities and differences between them. First, I will go over the common things that these two books have. They both have very similar characteristics. For example, Cinderella is always a very beautiful and nice girl. She has to do all the hard and dirty work under the discipline of bad characters. Bad characters are commonly involved in these stories. For example, Yeh-Shen had a wicked stepmother, who promoted her own child, but was very mean to her.

Rhodopis, a Greek slave girl living in Egypt, had her companion servants who made fun of her appearance and kept distance from her. Second, they have both have a similar plot and theme. Both stories have a good ending toward their destiny. In both versions of Cinderella, they finally get great rewards and marry to the royalties. Third, there are always some belongings being taken away from Cinderella. Elegant dresses, shoes, and rose-red slippers often play important roles in these stories. For example, in the Chinese version of Cinderella, Yeh-shen lost the gold shoes in a huge parade. The king got the shoes and found a long way to find the right person who could fit in it.

Fourth, they are all attributed to the supernatural or animals. In the Chinese version of Cinderella, Yeh-Shen was helped by the Fish spirit, and Rhodopis was helped by the falcon. Fifth, the most but not the least, they are both illustrated by beautiful colors and textures to describe the story of Cinderella. This is especially true in the story of the Egyptian Cinderella, which presents great details of life in ancient Egypt. Certainly, there are also some differences between these two books. The Egyptian Cinderella was based on a true story of ancient Egypt to some extent .This is unlike other fairy tales, which use a lot of imagination. In the history of ancient Egypt, Rhodopis did marry to the King Pharaoh Amasis. Furthermore, there is no punishment to bad characters in the Egyptian version of Cinderella.

I like the Chinese version of Cinderella better because it originated from China. I have heard this type of story a long time ago. It has some sort of traditional Chinese culture values and elements inside the story as well. In addition, it was illustrated by Ed.Young.

  灰姑娘观后感英文 3

Few people aren’t familiar with the Brothers Grimm’s Cinderella, afairy tale about a kind-hearted country girl who enduresmistreatment at the hands of her cruel and jealous stepmother. The girl never loses hope or becomes jaded by hercircumstances, and eventually she wins the heart of a dashing prince. Now this classic story hasreturned to the big screen.

Disney has a history of targeting female audiences with stories that elicit the nostalgia of theirchildhood years. With dazzling costumes and lavish set design, everything in this latest live-actionversion of Cinderella is accomplished with this goal in mind.

How many girls can resist the story of a young servant who transforms into a beautiful princess, complete with an extravagant blue ball gown and shining crystal glass slippers, all designed throughthe magic of a charming fairy godmother?

Movies adapted from fairy tales are nothing new. But in recent years, many of these stories havebeen revised, even flipped on their heads, to appeal to modern audiences. The 2014 musicaldrama Into the Woods, for example, combined the stories of Cinderella, Rapunzel, Little Red RidingHood, and Jack and the Beanstalk to create an ironic tale that would appeal to adults. StarringAmerican actress Angelina Jolie, 3-D dark fantasy film Maleficent (2014) portrayed the SleepingBeauty story through the perspective of the villain rather than the cursed princess.

Cinderella, however, stays true to its source material. There isn’t much time invested in creatingnew plot elements, instead the creators focus on details that make the story more convincing andlogical.

This time, Cinderella and her prince don’t fall in love at first sight at the royal ball — they develop afamiliarity with each other after meeting by chance in a forest.

We even feel a sense of pity for the malicious stepmother (Cate Blanchett) who overhears herhusband pouring his heart out about his love for his ex-wife. Two-time Academy Award winnerCate Blanchett’s elegance and formidable acting skills heighten the stepmother’s devilishness.

If this new Cinderella didn’t its formula for modern times, it’s quite possible that audienceswould reject it. Today people prefer to see heroines make the bad guy pay rather than easilyforgive them. Women with venomous tongues, like Max in 2 Broke Girls, always outshine theirmore forgiving counterparts.

Cinderella mostly aims to satisfy traditional fairytale lovers, and in this endeavor it succeeds. In thefilm’s simple world, it’s appearance, goodness and honesty that count most. In fact, no matterwhat situation we’re in, it’s never wrong to follow this adage from Cinderella: “Have courage and bekind.”
