一、利用单元话题由“听”导“写”
听力训练对“写”其实是有帮助的：在识别语段中的重要信息并进行简单的推断时，可以训练写作语言归纳的能力；在根据所听的内容做笔记时可以进行写作选材能力的训练；在根据话语中的线索把相关事实和信息联系起来的训练中，可以进行列提纲的训练；在听故事时可以学习对人和物的描写等等。
多数学生在学习写作初期，都有面对题目束手无策的经历。他们往往是冥思苦想半天，仍想不出写什么或不知道从何人手，即使写出几句话，也是词不达意，逻辑混乱。因此，有人认为，内容贫乏是中学生英语写作中的一个问题。其实，初中教材的单元话题非常贴近学生的生活，任何一个单元都有一个中心话题。即主题。教学中，不妨围绕中心话题，借助上述“听”的训练，逐步“写”好文章。

我充分利用听力材料Section A lb，先投影如下问题：

二、利用问题信息引“说”导“写”
任何一种语言的学习都是从“说”开始的，包括母语学习。学习英语写作也离不开“说”，因为要使用某种语言就得培养这种语言的语感。在写作的入门阶段，引导学生将“说”的语言变成文字是最基本、最有效的训练形式。对此，我让学生自己以回答问题的途径获取写作的信息。例如，在七年级下册Unit 9 How was your weekend?的单元话语训练中，我设计了一系列问题与学生口头交流：
Did you watch TV on Saturday evening?Was the program interesting?
What did you do on Sunday?
显然，交际的内容就是写作的素材。学生在回答问题过程中已经逐步完成了一篇小作文。在这个基础上，要求学生根据自己的周末，写一篇My weekend。这样的设计，学生很感兴趣，学生会根据自己的生活，写出丰富多彩的作文。最后让不同层次的学生到教室前面表演、交流，并给予鼓励与表扬。这样，既巩固了本单元所学的一系列动词词组、句型，又激发了学生对学习英语的兴趣；既让学生熟练掌握了教材内容，又与学生的日常生活联系起来，开拓了思路。如此逐步走向“成功”的训练，自然增强了学生“写”的自信心。
由“说”导“写”的训练要点是，教师要指导学生做好写作前的准备，明确写作要求，注意写作材料的选择，理清写作思路，列好提纲，让学生对写作过程充满期待。再者，帮助学生收集与写作话题有关的材料和观点，并选择合适的语言来表达，注意与本单元所学知识联系起来。
三、利用文本典范。借“读”导“写”
阅读是写作的基础，阅读为写作提供了语言材料和语言图式，学生只有在阅读中体察到语言的特性并有所感悟，才能从中获取语言信息，吸收语言材料，从而把吸收的语言变成写作的内容。课本选中的作品，体裁多样，题材新颖，语言真实生动，文化内涵丰富，贴近中学生的生活。例如，Go for it 3a提供的阅读文章，不仅是教的蓝本、说的范文，而且也是习作的样本。
在阅读教学中，教师要善于引导学生准确解析词句的运用，把握篇章结构，掌握连段成篇的方法，并把所“读”到的内容，经过分解后作为自己写作的养料。例如，七年级下册Go for it Unit 12中的3a文本写作的思路和内容是：书信格式；写家中的规章制度(能做什么，不

借“读”导“写”，不能游离于读。写的基础离不开阅读。语言的.输入与输出有密切的关联。作为输出方式的写作一旦失去了阅读，就失去了源头活水，失去了写作的支架。所以，英语写作不可能是单一的写，而应当有阅读的交流，然后冉提升到写。常言道，熟能生巧，只要学生的“读”达到一定的量和质，自然就能灵活运用英语去表达自己的所见所闻、自己的观点和思想。
