Ladies and gentlemen: Good morning! Today, the title of my speech is A Lesson from Nature.

Around us , there are plants, animals and many other things. We live in nature, so to keep the balance of nature is very important for us. But today, too many trees are still being cut down in many countries and flood all over the world are getting more and more serious, A lot of land has gone with them. This is a lesson from nature.

When people move into a new place, they often cut down trees or pull out many wild plants to make farmland. They don’t know that trees can stop flood and wind from washing or blowing the earth away, and that many of these wild plants are food for some wild animals. If the animals can’t find enough plants to eat, they will die or have to leave the place.

In one part of the United States, for example, the deer there like to eat a kind of wild flowers. The mountain tigers there eat the deer. But people killed many mountain tigers to protect the deer. soon there were so many deer that the ate up all the wild flowers. Then the deer began to eat the green leaves of the young trees the farmers thought of ways to protect their trees, then the deer had nothing to eat and many of them died.

The number of trees, deer, tigers, wild flowers and plants has changed much—less and less. We need to do more to keep the balance of nature.

  Thank you!

Gratitude, it though is a verb, a smile movement, actually, achieves truly grateful person but little little.

As the 21st century, we first Thanksgiving of should be parents. Maybe, you wasnt thinking, from your newborn then, until the girl, to youth contradiction of strong and courageous of boy, who you give at most? Needless to say, of course, is parents! So we must do “the parents dripping of grace, when animals are reported.” We have today happiness of life, have a warm home, safe, do have a happy, no famine, well-groomed, when leisure read kinds of extra readings do, here everything, and who creates? Are the parents to be thankful for, dont we? Although some classmates hatred parents leave task is too heavy, so that the children are suffocatively come, I want to say is: you dont have to for work and exhaustion of body and mind; No room to live without bothering to care, and your biggest task is to learn, thats still not enough?

Remember a stormy night, bean big rain some cracking hit the window. That night, I suddenly went limp body, ZhiChan, awakened the sleeping mom, mom took a look, 39 degrees thermometer. Now god panic, hurriedly woke daddy, daddy to the kitchen and TuiShaoYao and water, I take next, he lay in bed and absently fell asleep. I woke up after shut-eye, opens his eyes and finds that parents are still in my heart guard, beside a kind of unspeakable felling .......

I really thank god, let me incarnate upon parents knees, such as the most extensive and most without parents unconditional love, with all the true love sloping, all emotions to perfusion, a bit does not attend his own labor and hardship, from early parenting, can I tarnished write comments today account of gratitude.

Thanksgiving is a way, Thanksgiving is a kind of state. Only learn Thanksgiving, can get the respect of others and loved ones.

Tonight, I shall describe the actions of the enemy, the actions I have ordered to deal with that situation, and the reasons for my decision.

Cambodia -- a small country of seven million people -- has been a neutral nation since the Geneva Agreement of 1954, an agreement, incidentally, which was signed by the government of North Vietnam. American policy since then has been to scrupulously respect the neutrality of the Cambodian people. We have maintained a skeleton diplomatic mission of fewer than 15 in Cambodia’s capital, and that only since last August. For the previous four years, from 1965 to 1969, we did not have any diplomatic mission whatever in Cambodia, and for the past five years we have provided no military assistance whatever and no economic assistance to Cambodia.

North Vietnam, however, has not respected that neutrality. For the past five years, as indicated on this map, that you see here, North Vietnam has occupied military sanctuaries all along the Cambodian frontier with South Vietnam. Some of these extend up to 20 miles into Cambodia. The sanctuaries are in red, and as you note, they are on both sides of the border. They are used for hit-and-run attacks on American and South Vietnamese forces in South Vietnam. These Communist-occupied territories contain major base camps, training sites, logistics facilities, weapons and ammunition factories, airstrips, and prisoner of war compounds.

Happiness is like a snowflake, each one unique because the perception of a meaningful life varies from person to person. To many people, happiness means a simple life without any ups and downs, but my happiness comes from a life full of challenge and experience. When I was a child, happiness was the rare taste of independence, a brave leap from the mundane. I remember the first time I tried to to ride a bike by myself without the support wheels. I went back home with a flat tire, skinned knees, and the biggest grin my face could hold. While other toddlers preferred the safe and secure, I was tumbling down hills and swerving off sidewalks. Even now, I can still recall the exhilaration I had felt when I managed to stay atop that bike for those few short moments. Later on, overcoming challenges that I encountered in life was what

brought me happiness. You see, I started learning the violin. It was extremely hard and I sounded like I was flaying a cat every time I picked it up. My fingers were awkward and the bow slipped off the strings more times than it stayed on. I spent three hours everyday, sawing at my violin. My fingers bruised and my neck ached, but gradually the mistakes lessened and I was making music. Three years later, I was First Chair violinist in the school orchestra. I still remember the pride I had felt when I took my very first bow in front of an applauding audience. Happiness had felt so much sweeter after a hard won success. When I got older and saw more of the world, I wanted to contribute more. So when most people my age chose to spend the three months before college relaxing, I decided to get a part-time job as a TA at a summer school. I woke up at the crack of dawn, took an hours bus to the school every day and spent most of the summer vacation sitting in the back of classrooms, grading papers and taking notes on the lecture and tutoring students. It definitely wasnt the most glamorous summer, but it was one of the happiest and most memorable moments of my life. It didn’t just make me happy because it had been my first part-time job. I was happy because I had spent my time doing something worthwhile. I had contributed in my own way, and the children were going to do better in school in the coming year. Over the years, I’ve had my fair share of cuts and bruises, but the scars left behind are the testimony of my own unique experiences and the fulfilling life that I want to pursue. Our time is limited and I want to experience as much as life can offer. My happiness comes from living an exciting and worthy life, true to myself and true to the world. If personal happiness were a self portrait, then each day would be a

stroke of the brush, each experience a splash of vivid paint. And when we are old, we can look back upon our life and the dots will connect, every brush of color will come together and reveal a life worth living and a person worth being.

Dear classmates:

Everybody is good! Of my speech today is Thanksgiving parents!

Since the moment we are born, the parents raise us, give us the meticulous care, education we grow up. Have you ever thought to repay parents, have you ever thought to be grateful parents gratefulness, whenever we are in a happy life, have you ever thought how much parents behind the shed sweat hard...

Parents give me meticulous care and care, even if we accidentally pengpo a body skin, have you ever notice how anxxious parents, when parents criticize us, if you dont think parents nag, did you notice that the parents behind how sad, from now on, were going to learn to be grateful parents!

When parents get sick, you give them down a few times water? Even if you give your parents a bowl of instant noodles, although they did not speak, but their hearts have felt the enormous comfort. Parents in their reared with us, the father mother pay far higher than the mountains, deep than the sea, and as we know only foot, clothing to hand. And seems to have a barrier, let us become selfish and forget the parents pay once, so from now on, we should give parents a filial piety, have happiness, respect each other.

No matter how good you are, how much, if not that we keep our parents, there would be no todays you and me. Please let us with a grateful heart, to repay my parents, you will find yourself how happy it is!

good morning! ladies and gentlemen.

today, the title of my speech is what life is about as we all know, the most important thing in life is our attitude towards it, lots of men have tried different ways of treating life, and some succeeded, some failed, and here are some of the tips they left us. life isnt about keeping score. life isnt about your shoes or your hair or the color of your skin. in fact its not about if you have lots of friends or if you are alone, and its not about how accepted or unaccepted you are. life just isnt about that. but life is about whom you love and who you hurt. its about how you feel about yourself. its about trust, happiness and compassion.

life is about avoiding jealousy, overcoming ignorance and building confidence. its about what you say and what you mean. its about seeing people for who they are and not what they have. and we should always remember to be ourselves. other might have things that we desire but being what we really are is the only trail leading to the true colors of life. most of all, its about choosing to use your life to touch someone elses in a way that could have never been achieved otherwise.

weve learnt how to make a living but not a life, weve added years to life, but not life to years. and it is time for us to choose whether to make a difference in our life. and these choices are what life is about. thank you!

honorable judges, fellow students: good afternoon!

recently, ther is a heated debate in our society. the college students are the beneficiaries of a rare privilege, who receive exceptional education at extraordinary places. but will we be able to face the challenge and support ourselves against all odds? will we be able to better the lives of others? will we be able to accept the responsibility of building the future of our country? the cynics say the college students are the pampered lost generation, which would cringe at the slightest discomfort. but the cynics are wrong. the college students i see are eagerly learning about how to live independently.

we help each other clean the dormitory, go shopping and bargain together, and take part time jobs to supplement our pocket money. the cynics say we care for nothing other than grades; and we neglect the need for character cultivation. but again, the cynics are wrong. we care deeply for each other, we cherish freedom, we treasure justice, and we seek truth. last week, thousands of my fellow students had their blood type tested in order to make a contribution for the children who suffer from blood cancer. as college students, we are adolescents at the critical turning point in our lives. we all face a fundamental choice: cynicism or faith, each will profoundly impact our future, or even the future of our country.

i believe in all my fellow classmates. though we are still inexperienced and even a little bit childish. i believe that we have the courage and faith to meet any challenge and take on our responsibilities. we are preparing to assume new responsibilities and tasks, and to use the education we have received to make our world a better place. i believein our future.
