一、询问时间
What's the time, please?或What time is it?(几点了?)这是询问时间的常用句型。回答时要说:It is+具体时间。如:
-What's the time, please?/What time is it, please? 请问几点了?
-It's six o'clock. 六点了。
询问时间还可以用Can you tell me the time, please?等句型。
二、表达时间
1. 整点法:如果是整点时间,就用"钟点数+o'clock"这种形式来"报时", o'clock可以省略。如:7:00读作seven o'clock或seven。
2. 顺读法:先读"钟点数",后读"分钟数",即"钟点数+分钟数"。见数就读,直接读出。如:2:25读作two twenty-five。
3. 逆读法:先读"分钟数",再读"钟点数"。逆读法主要有两种:
(1)如果分钟数在30分以内,用"分钟数+past+钟点数"来表示。如:9:10读作ten past nine。
(2)如果分钟数超过30分,则用"(60-分钟数)+to+(钟点数+1)"表示"差几分几点"。如:2:58读作two to three。
(3)一刻钟可用a quarter来表示。如:2:45可以说成a quarter to three。
(4)30分钟可用half表示。如:4:30可以说成half past four。
