【学习目标】

1. 知识目标:掌握下列重点单词和词组的意思及用法wonder, band, review, ancient, composition, grade, pyramid, pupil, meeting, listen up, call, event.

2. 能力目标:复习学过的六种时态,能在实际情境中用学过的六种时态造句。

3.情感目标:培养学生对神奇大自然的热爱,对伟大人类文明的热爱。

【教学重难点】:

1.重点:一般现在时,一般过去时,现在进行时,过去进行时,一般将来时,现在完成时。

2.难点:以上六种时态的区别及运用。

【教学过程】

2. [课前朗读]: 朗读根wonder, band, review, ancient, composition, grade, pyramid, pupil, meeting, listen up, call, event.根据音标读出单词并了解汉语意思,养成学生自主学习词汇的习惯,促使学生迅速进入学习状态。

[检查词汇预习]:

a.采取学生结对、小组互查等形式来检查学生对词汇的预习情况。

b.朗读单词,注意发音。

一、情境导入

教师可问学生:Hello, everyone. Now look at the picture. What activity is the school going to hold? How do you know it?这样会调动学生用英语思维的积极性, 引出What is a wonder of the world?导入本课。

二、小听力(自主完成,合作释疑)

听Activity 2, 完成本题听力。

三、大听力 多层听

1. 听Activity 3,完成Activity4,选择正确答案。

2. Listen again and check.

四、理解意思

1.小组内合作解决activity 3的意思,找出不懂的地方。

2.小组间合作解决不懂的地方,教师适时点拨。

五、突破重点与难点

对重点内容和疑难问题进行合作探究学习。

1.What’s happening?什么事呀?

sth .+ happen + 地点或时间 某地或某时发生了什么事?

如:An accident happened in that street.

sth .+ happen to +sb. 某人发生了某事(常指不好的事)

如:A traffic accident happened to him yesterday.

2. She started a school magazine called New Standard.

called New Standard是过去分词短语作后置定语。

如:I made a new friend called Tom.

3. It was too dark to see anything.

too…to…表否定意义,太----而不能----,可以和not---enough to do或so---that---结构进行交换。

如:She is too young to go to school.= She’s not old enough to go to school. = She is so young that she can’t go to school. 她太小而不能上学。

4.Why don’t we start a school magazine, too?本句表示建议对方做某事,它相当于Why not start a school magazine, too? Why don’t+主语+do?= Why not +do?

如:Why don’t you go with us?=Why not go with us?

通过对对话的学习,让学生归纳本课的短语,可以小组合作,然后通过展示呈现出一个小组的成果,然后其他小组补充完善。
