教学过程：
A. Greetings.
B. 复习单词，重点放在培养和训练学生的分析观察能力上。应从易到难逐渐引导 学生。
C. 先把课本上的图分行让学生独立思考。然后以PAIR WORK形式进行讨论，再 补上图。然后启发学生找出每一行的规律。最后让学生边指图边说，达到检测和复习的目的.。
D. Part B.主要是用对话的形式检测学生掌握本单元重点句型：Whats in your room? 的情景。本部分设计了一幅颠倒的图画，以造成学生视觉上的差异。
E. 引导学生编对话付息句型。 Where is the TV?How many lamps? What colour?

一、导入
Greetings.
二、新授
1.按东西体积的'大小来学习单词，可以出示一些图片和实物让学生看。同时要求学生听录音。教师念单词，学生举起图片。让学生将10张有关房间的图片摆放在桌子上，然后听录音，最后根据录音指出相应的图。让学生按听到的顺序摆放图片，然后画像检查。利用教学挂图，边巩固新词边复习句型Where is …？
2．用玩具模型，边出示边问：What is this？学习几个新词后，把句子用新词连起来。 This is my room. In my room I have got a bed，a table，a closet and an armchair
3．学生用Pair work形式进行以上活动。
三、巩固练习
学生请画自己家房间或未来房间的简图，然后鼓励学生介绍所画房间里的东西以及部分物品摆放的位置。

D．让学生仔细观察两副房间图，引导他们说出这两个房间的不同，帮 助学生理解客厅、厨房等因用处不同，家具物品的拜访也有所不同。
E．让学生通过录音学习对BILL的卧室家具摆设的描述，让学生根据 自己的想法，替Bill重新布置卧室。学生边贴边说。
F．Group work。布置一个无序的场景，学生以Group work形式重新进 行安排，然后加以描述。学生可以互相检查，看他们能否对应正确，并进行评价。

教学过程：
一、复习
教师可以将实物文具等摆放在课桌上、盒子旁边或书包后面等位置，并提问：What’s on the desk? What’s near the box? What’s behind the schoolbag? ... 学生根据物品的真实位置做出回答。
二、新课呈现
1、教师请学生仔细观察A项的两幅图片，教师可以提几个问题：What can you see in the picture? Where is the …？ What’s …？ 学生通过观察尝试回答这些问题。
2、学生根据图片尝试用本单元的功能句提问。
3、操练活动
（1）将全班分成两个大组，一组学生看图A,一组学生看图B. 两组之间互相提问并回答，看哪个组提的问题多，回答的问题准确。
（2）学生两人结对，一名学生看图A，另一名学生看图B，找出A、B两幅图的异同。
三、拓展 B. Letters in life
1、教师请学生观察教材B项图片，说出图片所表示的`是什么地方，上面都有什么东西。

3、搜集更多含有字母E的图片，请学生找出该字母。

Ask the pupils to read the story again. Read the words in the speech bubbles with the pupils. Demonstrate how to do the first one with the pupils as an example. Use transparency to check the answers.

Play the Pupil’s Book Cassette and ask the pupils to listen to the sound and the words. Point out the spelling of this sound.
Say the words slowly and clearly. Check that the pupils are saying the sounds correctly.

Play the Pupil’s Book cassette again. Ask the pupils to listen to the sentence and point to the curtains and the nurse. Get the pupils to say the sentence. Then ask the pupils to color the turtles.
