　　寒假里我有很多有趣的事，过年是最开心的。

　　在过年里我和姐姐贴对联，我知道了“福”字要倒着贴，表示福气到。贴完对联后，我和姐姐、爸爸回老区。奶奶在买了一些好吃的糖回家。我和姐姐都争着吃。我自己还放了炮，虽然小孩子不让放炮，要注意安全，但是我长大了，会放炮了。嘻嘻。

　　In the new year, my sister and I pasted couplets. I learned that the word "Fu" should be pasted backwards to show that we are lucky. After pasting the couplet, my sister and dad went back to the old district. Grandma is buying some delicious sugar to go home. My sister and I are fighting for food. I also set off my own guns. 　　今天，我和叔叔、外婆他们到金鸡湖那里看灯会。我们先乘叔叔的轿车到金枫路，转坐地铁一号线到文化博览中心。

　　到达目的地后天正好黑了，灯会的'灯已经全都亮起。一串串，一丛丛，一片片，广场仿佛成了灯的海洋，真是美不胜收，让人目不暇接呀！“喜羊羊与灰太狼”的灯令人哈哈大笑，懒羊羊在睡觉被灰太狼抓住了，喜羊羊他们在比赛还不知道。还有“七小罗汉”正在修炼“七星阵”呢！看完了卡通花灯后又看见两条爪拿龙珠，口吐火球的大龙。再往前走，一个壮丽、高大威猛的变形金刚映入我的眼帘，他身穿红色战袍，手拿宝剑，真是酷极了！

　　Today is new years Eve. Its a day of reunion. At 12 oclock in the night, Dad took out all kinds of firecrackers that I coveted for a long time. I took out a Iron Rooster and set it on fire. I took a stick of incense and cautiously lit it. The Iron Rooster cried like a rooster, and then flew up to the sky and opened beautiful fireworks.

　　我又拿出了火龙炮点燃后他嗖的一声飞上了天空，连炸了五六下呢。

　　I took out the fire dragon gun and ignited it. Then he flew up to the sky with a whoosh sound and exploded five or six times.

　　妈妈拿出了一盒电光花，用打火机点然，顿时放出了一道道的光芒真是太美了。
