Located on the Island of Hainan, Hainan University is the only comprehensive university in this province. Located in the capital city of Haikou in Hainan Province, Hainan University is bounded by Qiongzhou Strait to the north and Nandu Jiang River to the south. The campus is characterized by its tropical marine shoreline with coconut-scented breeze and undulating expanse of sea and lake waters rippling in the sunshine. Hainan University covers 150 hectares of land, offering an ideal surrounding for learning and growing in a domain of wisdom. Our School is relatively small between all school of our university. But it is one of the most popular profession.
Since we are already here, let's make ourselves at home. Thank you very much.

Since you have lived in Suzhou for a long time ,I suppose that you are familiar with Nanjing to some degree.Located in the eastern part of China, Nanjing is the capital of Jiangsu Province which is developed in economy and an important central city on the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. Nowadays, Nanjing has developed into a multiple-producing industrial base in eastern China, an important hub of transportation and communication center.
Nanjing is very rich in natural and artificial landscapes. It is one of the first 24 well-known historic and cultural cities announced by the state. Dr.Sun Yat-Sen's Mausoleum, the Ming Tomb, the ancient city wall of Nanjing, the stone carvings of Southern Tang Dynasty,the Rain Flower Terrace and other places are the main scenic spots and historic sites. The Eastern Suburbs Scenic Area, the Qixia Mountain, the Xuanwu Lake, the Mochou Lake, the Qinhuai River Scenic Belt and other scenic areas are well-known far and near. Among them, Dr. Sun Yat-Sen's Mausoleum and the Qinhuai River Scenic Belt are among 40 best tourist scenic spots in China.
Today, we build a new cooperation platform, and we will make a new contribution to the friendship and communication between the two countries.

Today, I'm honored to have this opportunity to welcome all of you to attend the 4th international meet” Shino-Japan International Symposium on the East Asian Environmental Problems ”, especially to the distinguished guests from Japan. Welcome to Shanghai!
Japan has overcome various environmental pollutions during the period of high economic growth, I think we should learn from their successful experiences. Thanks to this chance, we can communicate with academic experts here.
Yesterday, we visited chongming Island, hope its beautiful scenery would give you a memorable moment. chongming is the largest river alluvial island and the third largest island of China, besides, Chongming is an ecological island, recently, it also has been identified as one of the three major low carbon economy demonstration areas. Here, I hope the experts who interested in Chongming can cooperate with us.
Taihu Lake is also our study object, now, there are many institutions in the study, Take this opportunity, I want to thank Kyushu University very much. Kyushu University is a world-renowned university in Japan. The cooperation between Kyushu University and Tongji university not only provide scientific support for improvement of aquatic environmental, biodiversity conservation and eco-biological restoration, but also draws the blueprint for international cooperation in the field of environmental in East Asia .

Coal is one of the major important energy resources in the world. Rational development and efficient utilization of coal is critical to the social and economic growth. Coal exploration has a long history, and coal miners has been praised as the"Envois of brightness and warmth. We are very proud of the glorious cause we have been doing!
At the new era, we witnessed the social and economic development as well as scientific and technological progress, dramatic changes have taken place in the global coal industry. Coal demand continues to increase; enterprise restructuring is speeding up, production efficiency has greatly improved, coal utilization has become diversified.[dai'v:sifai], clean coal technology has caught worldwide attention, and the cooperation and collaboration between coal companies is much more frequent and closer. Strengthening international economic cooperation has become the natural
choice for countries around the world.
Based on our common understanding, we at Shenhua Group would propose that, in order to promote the cooperation and development in mining industry, we shall establish a good platform for the major coal plays in the world to have more communications and exchanges and promote multilateral cooperation, so as to jointly promote the cooperation and development of the global coal industry as a whole.
I am glad that our colleagues from different countries have given us the valuable assistance. Many companies have expressed their willingness to join the platform. As the host of this competition, Shenhua Group Corporation Limited was founded in 1995. It is an integrated energy company with principal business covering coal production, power generation, railway, port, coal liquefaction and coal chemicals. Shenhua Group now has 58 coal mines, and 16 of these coal mines have an annual capacity of more than 10 million tons.
