2. right away ---- as soon as possible cf. right now –He’s not here right now.
3. ask for---to look for, try to find sb. especially to speak to him
Tell him to ask for Bob.

cf. ask about-to request information about sth/sb.
The boss is asking about those papers that you promised to have ready.
Newspaper reporters have been asking about the missing child all day.
4. not ..but.. He is not an expert on DNA, but an expert on ENT.
5. manage to do sth--- I managed to finish my homework in an hour./I was able to finish my homework in an hour.
6. persuade sb to do sth.---He persuaded all the world-famous pop stars to come and sing at one of these concerts for free.
7. come to ---to reach a total The bill comes to $ 50.
