1)join的用法：①join做及物动词，意为“参加，加入”，指参加某项团体或组织。例如： 1.He wants to join the army? 他想参军。2.Can I join the swimming club?我能加入游泳俱乐部吗？
②join也指“参加”某种活动，常与介词in连用。
2) 情态动词can的用法：情态动词是辅助动词帮助说明能力、意愿等的词，并且它不随主语人称的变化而变化。eg.
（1）变否定句直接在can后加“ ”.
（3）变疑问句直接把can
Can you dance ? What can you do ?
can一般有两种含义：
（1）表示能力，意思是“ ”，如：
①I can swim.我会游泳。
②I can play the guitar.我能弹吉他。
（2）用在主语是第一人称的疑问句中，表示征求意见，意思是“ ”，同may的用法，如： ①Can I help you?我能帮助你吗？
②Can/May I know your name?我可以知道你的名字吗？
